Our Motorhome

This is our 2013 Autotrail Tracker RB Highline purchased from Elite motorhomes in Oxfordshire. The vehicle is a six berth coachbuilt motorhome. The sleeping configuration is a rear fixed island double bed, double bed over the cab and the lounge area converts into a double bed. Onboard there are four belted travelling seats, hob, grill, oven and microwave, three way fridge, dimable LED lighting throughout, cassette toilet, separate shower, gas / electric water heating and central heating, recessed awning, BBQ point, external shower, cab air conditioning and cruise control. The van includes the media pack (tv aerial, tv/dvd and freeview, sat nav, reversing camera), half dinette layout with seatbelts, bike rack and alarm.

  • Length – 7.6 m
  • Width (mirrors folded) – 2.34m
  • Height – 3.10
  • Engine – Multi jet 130bhp to 150bhp engine upgrade. Base vehicle is the 150bhp 2.3 turbo diesel euro 5 Fiat Ducato.
  • Heavy Ducato chassis
  • 280w solar panel (to be fitted)
  • Re – fillable gas bottles (to be fitted)

The three photos above show some of the main reasons we settled on the Tracker motorhome. We liked that we had access all round the bed which seems to be a relatively rare feature. Being able to tilt the bed to enjoy the views out of the two large windows and the overhead skylite was also a bonus. The bathroom has a separate shower and a 100 litre tank. The van we almost chose did not have this feature. We can use the double bed over the cab for storage or for friends and relatives if they wish to join us for a short visit. The large overhead skylite was also a selling point and provides plenty of light to the lounge area.

Love that it has a separate shower…that’s one thing I don’t love about ours, shower and toilet in same space. Not a biggie though…better than having to truf\dge to an ablutions block all the time, some of them are soooooo dodgy!
